Hyperrealistic Large Artworks

2025 - Current

The current direction of my art is an ongoing series of large hyperrealistic drawings inspired by Japanese philosophy and aesthetics that adopt a minimalist approach. These pieces distill objects into minimalistic compositions and to their essential presence, offering understated, quiet narratives that reflect on value, perception, and meaning.

Some of these works are being created to exhibit in Tokyo Metropolitan Museum and enter the top worldwide art awards in 2026.

In|square Collection

2022 - 2024

The in|square pieces were featured in Museum Santa Catarina, Aveiro, Portugal and CODA Museum, Apeldoorn, Netherlands.

The art within my In|Square series intends to express my personal reflections on our inescapable immersion with technology.
As the digital world expands its dominion, what was once familiar and tangible dissolves, the boundaries between truth and fiction blur, as the line between the real and the simulated becomes increasingly indistinguishable.

Within this enigmatic landscape, we are tasked with the formidable challenge of navigating the interplay between the tangible and the digital, seeking harmony in an increasingly fragmented reality.

In these artworks the juxtaposition of hyper-realism and "pixelation" serves as a powerful visual metaphor, underscoring the artificiality and transient nature of our experiences within the digital world.

These artworks invite everyone to question the authenticity and integrity of the world they inhabit, urging them to confront the profound implications of living in a reality where truth itself seems fragmented and elusive.

Early Works

Before 2022

My early works are a collection of smaller pieces that mark my early journey with pastels where I explored the most diverse themes and subjects and were fundamental to get me to where I am today.
