A praying mantis rests quietly on a crumpled sheet of aluminium foil, a meeting of calm and chaos. The mantis, motionless yet full of awareness, embodies stillness and presence. It stands as a symbol of focus, patience, and inner clarity.
The foil beneath it is the opposite world: full of sharp edges, shifting reflections, and broken light. It represents distortion, the noise of modern life, the confusion of thought, the endless movement that bends and reshapes everything it touches.
Together, they form a quiet dialogue between order and disorder, silence and noise, being and becoming. The mantis does not resist the twisted metal surface; it simply exists upon it, untouched by its turmoil.
Through this contrast, Stillness & Distortion reflects on the nature of balance, how calm can exist not in escape from chaos, but within it. It reminds us that clarity is not only found in the absence of distortion, but also in the ability to stay centered while surrounded by it.

About my In|Square series
The art within my In|Square series intends to express my personal reflections on our inescapable immersion with technology.
As the digital world expands its dominion, what was once familiar and tangible dissolves, the boundaries between truth and fiction blur, as the line between the real and the simulated becomes increasingly indistinguishable.
The disintegration of the real world, occurring gradually and insidiously, forces us to confront profound questions about the nature of our existence and our relationship with the technological marvels we have created. It impels us to reconsider the significance of tangible experience, the primacy of genuine connections, and the ethical implications of embracing a world detached from the foundations of our humanity.
Within this enigmatic landscape, we are tasked with the formidable challenge of navigating the interplay between the tangible and the digital, seeking harmony in an increasingly fragmented reality.
In these artworks the juxtaposition of hyper-realism and "pixelation" serves as a powerful visual metaphor, underscoring the artificiality and transient nature of our experiences within the digital world.
These artworks invite everyone to question the authenticity and integrity of the world they inhabit, urging them to confront the profound implications of living in a reality where truth itself seems fragmented and elusive.

Tucked quietly among the dry, curling leaves, a small frog rests, almost invisible at first glance. This piece was born from the simple, humbling realization that the smallest lives often pass us by unnoticed. In a world that celebrates the loud and the large, creatures like this frog exist in quiet harmony, asking nothing yet giving everything to the balance of their environment.
Its body echoes the warm browns and soft textures of the leaves around it, as if the forest itself shaped and welcomed it into being. There is no clear boundary between the frog and its surroundings, they belong to one another. This blending is not just camouflage, but a quiet expression of unity: a reminder that nature does not divide itself the way we often do. Instead, it adapts, merges, and coexists.
Frogs have long carried the symbolism of transformation and renewal. They live between worlds, water and land, stillness and movement, embodying change itself. In this drawing, the frog becomes a gentle symbol of resilience and sensitivity, a small witness to the health of its world. Its presence feels both delicate and enduring, like a soft pulse within the forest floor.
More than anything, this artwork is an invitation to slow down, to look closer, and to feel. It asks us to rediscover a sense of wonder for the overlooked, to recognize that even the quietest lives hold stories, beauty, and meaning. In seeing the frog, perhaps we also begin to see ourselves not separate from nature, but deeply, inseparably part of it.
